Bethel Stone Painting and Carpentry

Bethel Stone Painting and Carpentry paints homes and commercial buildings, from interior rooms and exterior surfaces to light industrial facilities such as factories, warehouses and manufacturing plants. The company also handles power washing and soft washing for buildings and concrete, along with finish carpentry for homes and businesses. Owner Jose "Joe" Tavares started the business in 2020 after more than 15 years in the painting trade.

Crews prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching, sanding and priming, then remove all materials and walk the finished job with the customer. Before work begins, the team reviews the scope of a project and can advise on color, coatings and finish. Estimates are free, and the company serves clients from coastal New Hampshire to central Maine, with its office on Brighton Avenue in Portland.
