Interstate Companies

Interstate Companies sells, services and repairs engines, generators and transmissions for trucks, heavy equipment and marine vessels. Its work centers on on-highway and vocational trucks, transport refrigeration units, generator sets and marine power systems, along with factory parts for the brands it supports. The company has been a distributor of on- and off-highway engines since 1957.

The Portage branch keeps weekday hours and offers emergency service around the clock, so fleets and operators can call after hours when equipment goes down. Technicians are factory-trained, and the company runs service trucks to reach jobs. Interstate Companies has locations across a dozen states, and Portage is its Indiana site.
