Visioneering

Visioneering is an aerospace tooling and automation company that designs and builds tight-tolerance fixtures, including layup, trim, assembly and facilities equipment, mostly from Invar, aluminum or steel alloys. Its composites center makes carbon fiber and fiberglass tooling and parts, and its automation group offers turnkey facility systems and retrofits of existing tool strings. The company was founded in 1953 as an automotive tooling supplier and moved into aerospace work in 1998.

The company works mainly with aerospace, defense and space customers rather than the public. Its headquarters is on Taylor Road in Auburn Hills, with a composite technologies facility on Groesbeck Highway in Fraser.
