The Dirt Store

The Dirt Store is a landscape and construction materials yard that sells garden soil, super soil, compost, bark mulch, decorative stone, sand, and driveway gravel by the load or in 5-gallon buckets. It also carries DownEaster dump inserts, flatbeds, spreaders, and parts, along with winter sand and rock salt for plow trucks. The business grew out of J.M. Morin Earthworks, Inc., which was founded in 2000 as a small trucking operation.

Customers can stop in at the storefront, which opened in 2015, or order by phone, text, email, Facebook, or the website. Delivery anywhere in Maine is available for a fee, and the staff will help work out yardage and choose the right product. The yard is on Route 11/121 in Poland.
