Ziggys Ice Cream & Food

Ziggy's is an ice cream and food stand on Water Street near the Plymouth harbor, open since 1957. It serves locally made ice cream, including Richardson's homemade ice cream, in hard serve and soft serve, along with frozen yogurt, sherbet, sorbet, sundaes, milkshakes and frappes. The savory side covers classic stand food such as cheeseburgers, fries, fried dough and tuna melts.

The stand runs every April through October, and spring hours are listed as daily until 9 PM, weather permitting. Expect lines on summer evenings, and plan to eat at the wooden benches or picnic tables nearby. Ziggy's also sells t-shirts, hoodies, tumblers and bumper stickers, but merchandise is available only in person at the Water Street store.
