By The Sea Bed and Breakfast is a bed and breakfast run by Roger and Brenda Silvieus, open since 2001 directly on historic Plymouth Harbor. Its best-known room is the Mayflower Suite, which has a harbor view, a private bath, air conditioning, cable TV, a refrigerator, a microwave and wireless internet.

The front porch is a gathering spot for guests, and from the house they can watch the sunrise over the Mayflower. Harbor traffic moves past in view, including whale watch boats, harbor tours, fishing boats, sailboats, kayakers and paddle boarders. Parking is available on the property.
