West Side

West Side is an event venue in Plattsburgh that hosts weddings, corporate meetings, conferences, holiday parties and private celebrations. Its Grand Ballroom holds up to 400 guests, with smaller rooms such as the Barracks Room for about 30 and the MacDonough Room for up to 50, plus an outdoor patio that can be used for ceremonies and cocktail hours. Executive chef Kevin Thornton leads the catering, offering passed hors d'oeuvres, plated dinners, carving stations and buffets, both on-site and off-site.

Events are planned through general manager Brandon Epps, who can arrange a tour and build a custom menu. West Side also runs a Thursday Takeout dinner service with a rotating menu of entrees, ordered in advance by phone or email and picked up between 4 and 6 PM on Thursdays. The venue is at 253 New York Road.
