Johnson Barbeque

Johnson Barbeque is a Plant City restaurant serving classic southern barbecue, with pit barbecue, steak specials, sandwiches, BBQ tacos, salads and sides. The family's barbecue tradition started in 1954, when Elton Johnson began slow-smoking pork shoulders out of a gas station that became a restaurant.

Weekend specials include a 14 oz smoked ribeye dinner on Friday and Saturday after 5 pm, while Tuesday brings a four-taco meal deal. Kids eat free on Monday and Wednesday evenings with an adult entree, dine-in only. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday, and gift cards and online ordering are available. Catering and a family holiday feast are offered as well.
