Red's Shoe Barn

Red's Shoe Barn sells men's, women's, and children's shoes along with specialty footwear and a wide range of athletic, outdoor, and fashion apparel. The shop carries more than 100 brands, including Merrell, Dansko, and Clarks. Red's started in 1958 in a converted blacksmith's shop in Dover, and the staff are known for helping shoppers find the right size and fit, especially for kids.

There are two stores, one in Dover and one in Plaistow, both open Monday through Friday and Saturday with shorter Sunday hours. Gift cards work at either location and on everything the store sells, and a free VIP Club offers points, rewards, and notice of sales. Red's also takes job applications in store.
