1-800-Flowers

1-800-Flowers sells flower arrangements, roses, orchids, plants, gift baskets, gourmet food and keepsakes, with birthday, sympathy and everyday occasion collections. The company traces its start to 1976, when founder Jim McCann opened his first retail florist shop, and it now runs as an online retailer with a wide selection for every gifting need.

Same-day delivery is available every day of the year, with order cutoffs of 3 p.m. on weekdays, 2 p.m. on Saturdays and noon on Sundays, all in the recipient's time zone. Sympathy Advisors help with funeral flowers by phone or chat, and the company also delivers internationally. Its headquarters is in Jericho, New York.
