Windows & doors in Pittsfield

Window and door businesses help with the parts of a home or building that let in light, air and weather. Many of them repair or replace glass, fix or redo screens, repair storm windows, and install shower doors and frameless glass showers. Some also make custom glass pieces such as tabletops and shelves, or handle commercial storefronts. When you call, describe the problem plainly, such as a cracked pane, fogged double glazing or a torn screen, and ask whether they will come out to measure or look before quoting. Ask what glass or screen material they use and whether the warranty covers both parts and labor. Booking early in spring and fall tends to be easiest, since that is when many people need window work done.
