The Cliffs Hotel and Spa

The Cliffs Hotel and Spa is an oceanfront hotel on the bluffs of Pismo Beach, with a restaurant, a seaside bar and a spa. Its restaurant, Marisol, cooks seafood and steaks with produce and ingredients from nearby farms and producers, and the menu shifts with the seasons. Regulars come for the Thursday house-smoked prime rib and the Friday fish and chips, made with Alaskan halibut and Mexican shrimp. The spa offers facials, massages and body treatments.

Brunch and lunch are served daily, with dinner later in the day, and the lounge has live music on Friday and Saturday evenings. Sunday brunch comes with bottomless mimosas. Reservations can be made online or by phone, and groups of 16 or fewer can call the restaurant, while larger parties are directed to the banquet rooms. Hotel guests can order room service from Marisol, parking is complimentary, and dogs are welcome.
