Goodwill of San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin

Goodwill SF Bay runs secondhand stores in the San Francisco Bay Area, selling donated goods at affordable prices. Its stores also serve as training grounds, since the organization hires its trainees for paid, on-the-job work in stores and warehouses. Shoppers can browse in person, shop online, or look for deals at its clearance centers.

The organization works with people facing barriers to employment, including those coming out of military service, incarceration, homelessness, or addiction recovery. Its services include individualized career advising, skill building, industry certifications, and paid earn-while-you-learn jobs. Donations of goods, electronics, and money are accepted, and gift cards are available.
