ABC Driving School of Arizona

ABC Driving School teaches teens and adults to drive with one-on-one, in-car lessons in clearly marked training vehicles. Packages range from a 5-hour basic course to a 15-hour premier course, and the premier package includes freeway driving and a road test given privately by the instructor. A 30-hour online permit prep course is also offered for students who want to learn Arizona driving rules before their first lesson.

Instructors pick students up and drop them off at their chosen location for each lesson, and Spanish-speaking instructors are available. Lessons are scheduled online. Behind-the-wheel training runs seven days a week, while the office keeps weekday hours. The school is an ESA-approved vendor, so families can pay with an Empowerment Scholarship Account, and it is authorized by ADOT. The office is on East University Drive in Phoenix.
