Performance Garage

Performance Garage is a non-profit dance center in Philadelphia that supports dance artists, companies, educators and choreographers. It operates two dance studios and a 105-seat theater designed for dance, and its programs include an artist residency, community engagement work, dance films and panel discussions. The center also hosts performances by local dance companies and schools.

The building is a 19th-century former horse stable that later served as an auto repair garage, and it has been renovated over several phases into studio space. Studio and production space is available to rent for artists, and the organization runs an annual gala. It is at 1515 Brandywine Street in the Spring Garden neighborhood, near Fairmount.
