Franklin Fountain

Franklin Fountain is an old-fashioned ice cream parlor in Old City, Philadelphia, founded in 2004 by the Berley Brothers. It makes its ice cream and other sweets in-house, and its menu is built around traditional soda fountain treats.

The main shop at 116 Market Street is open every day from late morning until midnight. A second spot, Franklin Ice Cream Bar, operates at 112 Market Street on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings and afternoons. Gift cards, local delivery, catering, cakes and bulk wholesale orders are available, and the same team runs Shane Confectionery on the block.
