Sax's Joint

Sax's Joint is a '50s-style diner on Petaluma Boulevard South serving classic American comfort food, handcrafted burgers, fresh sandwiches, breakfast favorites and its well-known homemade cinnamon rolls. Reviewers often point to the biscuits and the wide breakfast menu, and the diner also does catering for corporate events, family gatherings and celebrations.

The diner runs daily from 7 AM to 3 PM and takes walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis, with no reservations during regular hours. Larger groups are asked to call ahead. Indoor seating, outdoor seating on the garden patio or out front, to-go orders and online pickup are all available, and the family runs the place with a retro pink, black and white look and a jukebox of '50s and early '60s music. Parking is in the rear off Second Street. After-hours private events are sometimes possible once the diner closes.
