Zion Coffee

Zion Coffee is a coffee roaster with a shop in downtown Peoria's Warehouse District. The company buys its beans through a direct-trade model with individual farmers and small cooperatives, and it runs a documentary-style focus on the growers behind each bag. Customers can order whole bags, merchandise, and monthly subscriptions online, and the company also sells coffee to restaurants, hotels, offices, and events on a custom program basis.

The Coffee Bar is the place to drink it in person, and gift cards bought online can be used there. Wholesale customers can ask for equipment to grind, prepare, and serve coffee along with their beans. Zion's founders also fund local projects and microloans for the farmers they work with, so the coffee comes with a story most neighbors can trace back to a specific farm.
