UFS Home Center

UFS Home Center sells furniture, appliances, mattresses and housewares, much of it bought as surplus, factory closeouts and overstock. The store began as a small surplus shop and has been part of Peoria for more than 70 years. Shoppers also find a wine and spirits department, which expanded in the 1990s and carries everyday bottles alongside rarer bourbons, craft beer and single barrel picks.

The store moved to Northpoint Shopping Center on North Knoxville Avenue in 2026, and the new location has improved parking. Parking is free. The store says it will match or beat a lower price it is shown, and the merchandise turns over often, so regulars come back to see what has arrived. It is closed on Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
