The Neon Bison

The Neon Bison brings a Nashville feel to downtown Peoria, with a southern take on classic breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites. It is the longest-running bar downtown, and a full renovation has given it a Nashville-inspired look. The business moved into a larger space in February 2025.

Live music is featured weekly, from local musicians to national touring acts, with trivia on Tuesdays and karaoke or open mic on alternating Wednesdays. The room suits sporting events, with numerous TVs and a premium surround sound system for NFL Sunday Ticket and Cubs or Cardinals games. A private gaming area has six new machines. The bar stays open later than the kitchen, so plan your meal before the kitchen closes each evening.
