Sugar Wood-Fired Bistro

Sugar Wood-Fired Bistro is a quick-casual restaurant in Peoria's Warehouse District, cooking gourmet wood-fired pizzas and sandwiches over locally sourced hardwood. The menu also includes fresh salads and hand-made sweet treats, carried over from owner Travis Mohlenbrink's earlier catering business, Cracked Pepper Catering. Artisan beers and a modest selection of wines by the glass and bottle round out the menu.

It is counter service: you order at the counter, get a number to take to your table, and the food is brought to you. The open kitchen gives a view of the wood-fired oven, and the dining room uses repurposed materials and LED lighting. Gift cards can be bought online. The restaurant is open for lunch, dinner, or a late-night snack, and food is available to go for quick pickups.
