Lamb Builders

Lamb Builders is a family-owned custom home builder in Peoria that Phil Lamb started in 1999. The company is best known for new custom homes built around each owner's vision, and its work also includes decks, kitchen and bath remodels, cabinetry, trim, and built-ins. Phil's sons joined in 2008 and 2011 and have since taken over the business.

The builders work one-on-one with homeowners from design through construction and keep their workload small enough to manage personally rather than taking on high-volume projects. Appointments aren't required, and the company welcomes inquiries about new projects. It uses higher-cost materials on purpose, which it says pays off in durability over time. Lamb Builders serves Peoria and nearby communities including Dunlap, Washington, and Morton, as well as Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties.
