Kouri's Pub

Kouri's Pub is a family-owned bar and grill that grew out of the family's steakhouse, The Lariat Steakhouse, which the Kouri family took over in 1970. The pubs were created to offer simpler, budget-conscious food and drinks for friends, co-workers and families, using the same quality standards as the steakhouse. The original Peoria pub opened in 1986, and the family has been in the bar and restaurant business for four generations.

Each location has TVs showing every major sporting event, and the outdoor patios are popular for golf outings and other gatherings. Parties and events can be booked ahead, and the full-service bar serves larger groups. The Peoria pub is on North Sterling Avenue, and the family also runs a second pub in Pekin.
