John S. Rhodell Brewery

John S. Rhodell Brewery is a small batch brewery in Peoria that opened in 1998 and is described as the oldest operating brewery in Central Illinois. It brews a rotating lineup of craft beers in many styles, including sours, with favorites kept on tap regularly. The bar also pours wines, scotch, gin, vodka, rum, bourbon, seltzers and non-alcoholic beers, and its bartenders are known for Hurricanes, Manhattans and Old-Fashioneds.

The taproom serves pints on site, and beer can be taken home in pint, mini or full-size growlers. Delivery is also offered. The brewery is at 100 Walnut Street in downtown Peoria, and it is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
