Jim's Barbershop

Jim's Barbershop is a neighborhood barbershop on North Sheridan Road in Peoria, offering men's haircuts and kids' cuts with a free beard and neck trim. Jim Hartter bought the shop in 2006 after working there as a barber for Judy Langley, and he kept the laid-back, welcoming feel customers have come to expect. Regulars include families who have been coming for decades, with children and grandchildren now in the chair.

Jim also runs The Garage Barbershop in Germantown Hills, which is appointment only and open Sunday through Thursday evenings for people who cannot easily get away during the day.
