Destiny for Women Health Clinic

Destiny for Women is a free women's health center in Peoria offering pregnancy testing, pregnancy ultrasounds, and free STD and STI testing and treatment for gonorrhea, chlamydia, and trichomoniasis. Its nurses also run consultations on abortion pills and the options available at different stages of pregnancy, and the center provides free pregnancy and parenting support resources and referrals.

All services are offered at no cost and confidentially under Illinois law. A typical visit can include a one-on-one session with a patient advocate, an ultrasound, and time with a medical professional. Staff include nurses and sonographers with current licenses, working under a medical director. The center does not perform or refer for abortion. It is at 2805 N. Knoxville Avenue on Peoria's north side, open Monday, Tuesday, and Friday daytime, and Wednesday until evening.
