Brush Hollow Winery

Brush Hollow Winery is a family-owned winery and vineyard in Penrose, Colorado, making wine and mead. The site also lists bath products, olive oil and pastas, and offers paint and sip sessions, gift baskets and private label wines. The winery says it hopes to help establish Colorado's Apple Valley as a wine-growing region, with American hybrid, Riesling and Golden Muscat grapes.

Guests can taste in the tasting room, in the vineyard or in one of the cabanas out back, and reservations can be made through the website. Hours are Friday afternoon and evening, Saturday from noon to 7 PM and Sunday from noon to 6 PM, with visits also possible by appointment. The winery is at 465 D Street in Penrose.
