Pekin Deck Company

Pekin Deck Company builds, repairs and stains decks for homeowners around Pekin, from simple ground-level platforms to two-story decks with stairs, screened porches and composite boards. The company says it starts with the framing and footings, checking that footings sit below the frost line and that the ledger board is flashed against water, so decks hold up through Illinois winters.

New decks begin with a site visit to measure, check soil and drainage and talk through materials, followed by a written, itemized quote at no charge. The crew also takes on small jobs such as a loose railing or a few rotted boards. Spring and early summer are the busiest seasons. The company serves Pekin and nearby towns including Peoria, Morton, East Peoria and Bloomington-Normal, and it says it will often work outside that list if you call.
