Sharkey's Cuts for Kids

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is a haircut salon for children, offering boys' and girls' cuts, a child's first haircut experience, curl styling, braids, and up-do styles for special events. Every haircut includes a wash, cut and blow-dry, along with a balloon and a lollipop. Kids sit in fun chairs shaped like a Dodge Police Cruiser, a Barbie Jeep, a Lightning McQueen race car or a Mini Cooper, and can watch cartoons or Netflix during their visit.

Parents can book their own haircut or a wash and style in a private lounge. Older kids can relax in the Tween Lounge, which offers a minicure and a glamour ring, and the Day of Beauty package covers hair, nails and makeup. Appointments are booked online, and the salon offers a custom social narrative for children who feel anxious or sensitive to sensory input before a haircut. The salon is in Pearland.
