Pearland's Early Childhood Development Center

Pearland's Early Childhood Development Center is a daycare that takes children from infants through age 12. It follows a holistic early childhood approach, with exposure to different environments and learning experiences meant to build language, literacy, social skills and creative expression. Classrooms are split by age: infants from 6 weeks to 17 months, toddlers from 18 to 23 months, preschoolers from 3 to 5 years, and afterschoolers from 6 to 12 years.

The center is Texas Rising Star certified and uses a curriculum-based program. Preschool classes follow Head Start learning goals to prepare children for school. Afterschoolers can be picked up from most Pearland ISD and local schools, then do homework, have a snack and join activities, including an in-house tutoring program run by Tackle Tutoring Centers. Tours are by appointment on weekdays, and the center is on North Main Street in Pearland.
