Texas Honing is a precision machining shop that makes finished parts for drilling, completion and production work. Honing is its primary business, covering bores from 0.500 to 30 inches in diameter, and the shop also does boring, drilling, trepanning, turning, straightening, saw cutting, polishing and CNC machining. Jobs can run from raw material to finished product, and the company says it handles both single machining jobs and full projects.

The main plant is in Pearland, Texas, and Texas Honing operates three facilities, including THI North and Standard Machine Works, which focuses on gun drilling and CNC turning and milling. Each customer gets a single dedicated point of contact, and individual jobs can be tracked online with anticipated delivery dates. The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified and is part of PCC Energy Group.
