First Church of Pearland

First Church of Pearland is a multi-cultural, multi-generational church that focuses on connecting people far from God with Jesus Christ. Senior Pastor Ken Gurley has led the church since 1988, and he also writes books and hosts a morning devotion. Ministries include children's, youth and young adult programs, small groups, and missions work that reaches locally, nationally and around the world. Each October the church hosts Motion, a conference that equips pastors and church leaders.

Sunday gatherings are the main way people get involved, and services are streamed live and available on demand for anyone who cannot attend in person. Newcomers can take a first step such as baptism, joining a small group or serving on a team. The church is on Broadway in Pearland and posts prayer requests and giving options on its website.
