Central Texas BBQ

Central Texas BBQ has been smoking meats in Pearland since 1969, when Diana LeClere arrived from Cuba and began cooking in the kitchen that became the restaurant. Hickory-smoked brisket, sausage, ribs, chicken and turkey anchor the menu, with Cuban touches like congri, Spanish rice and mojo-influenced sauces. The family recipes have stayed largely the same for more than five decades, and four generations of the LeClere family still run the place.

Delivery is available, and the restaurant caters everything from office lunches to parties of 20 to 2,000 people, with sides made from scratch for catering orders. Catering inquiries are handled by phone. Central Texas BBQ is recognized as an official Texas Treasure Historic Business.
