Outdoor concerts among the pines in Peachtree City201 McIntosh Trail, Peachtree City, GA
The Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater, known to fans as The Fred, is an outdoor concert venue in Peachtree City set among Georgia pines. It hosts national and international touring acts as well as up-and-coming performers, with a mix of table, theater-style and lawn seating for about 2,500 people.
The venue is reached by a rustic path through the woods. It was built in the 1970s as an outdoor theater for a local play, was later reopened after a 1989 fire, and is named for former Peachtree City Mayor Frederick Brown Jr. Since 2018 the city has contracted PTR, a joint venture of Premier Events, RCS Productions and FrshTix, to book concerts and run operations. Concert listings and tickets are posted on the venue's website.
