Bistro 217 is an American restaurant that serves an eclectic menu of seafood, burgers, sandwiches, salads and steaks. Starters include Fried Lobster Wonton, Blackened Chicken Nachos and Quick-Fried Calamari, while the entrées range from Grilled Filet Mignon with Seared Shrimp to Herb Crusted Grouper and Braised Short Ribs. The restaurant was established in 2004 by co-owners Anne Hardee and Adam Kirby, and its name refers to its location on U.S. 17.
The courtyard has wrought iron tables, a bar and a canopy that can be enclosed and climate controlled or opened to the breeze. Inside, there are booths, banquettes and a bar area. Reservations can be made online, and gift cards are available. The restaurant is on Ocean Highway in Pawleys Island.
