Shoreline Awning, Patio & Ironworks

Shoreline Awning, Patio & Ironworks designs and builds custom awnings, patio covers, pergolas and shade structures for homes and businesses. The company makes many of its products in-house, including fixed and retractable awnings, louvered pergolas, and drop shades, and also does decorative and architectural ironwork. Commercial work includes outdoor dining areas for restaurants, wineries and breweries, while residential jobs range from patio covers to shade over a space between two buildings.

The company has been in business since 1982 and is now owned by Dan and Rachel Ryan, who both come from construction project management. Free estimates are offered, and financing is available for projects. Most jobs are designed in-house and installed by the company's own crew, and it works with contractors, architects and landscapers too. Its fabrication and sewing facilities are in Paso Robles, and Saturday visits are by appointment, with the office closed Sundays.
