Wockenfuss Candies

Wockenfuss Candies is a family-run candy maker that has been making homemade chocolates and confections in Baltimore since 1915. Its signature homemade chocolate candies are the best-known part of the line, and the menu also includes truffles, caramel apples, fudge, taffy, licorice, lollipops, nuts and sugar-free candies. Seasonal gift assortments and gummi pumpkins appear around the holidays.

The company now runs six retail stores in Maryland, including locations in Baltimore City, Bel Air, Columbia, Ocean City and a shop on the Boardwalk. Gift cards can be bought online and used there. The business is owned by the third generation of the Wockenfuss family, and its factory sits at a site relocated in the 1990s. Fundraising orders are also taken.
