Behavior Plus

Behavior Plus is a family-owned dog training practice founded in 2008 that works on everything from leash pulling and barking to reactivity, fear and aggression. Its services include in-home training, group classes, puppy lessons, day board and train, service and therapy dog training, and goal-based behavior modification. The trainers, led by owner Frank Pugliese, are certified professionals, and several began as clients of the business.

Training is booked online or by phone, and each dog starts with an evaluation so the plan fits its needs and the owner's routine. Group classes are held outdoors as well as indoors. The business has a River Edge location on Kinderkamack Road and a second studio in Caldwell, and it serves clients across Northern New Jersey.
