YourTown Health

YourTown Health is a non-profit network of Community Health Centers offering primary care, pediatric and adolescent care, women's care, dental care, behavioral health, pharmacy services, and an HIV program. Its services include immunizations, diagnostic testing and laboratory work, school and work physicals, and referrals to specialists. The organization was formed in 1978 by Palmetto residents who wanted a local physician, and its first center opened in April 1980.

The centers serve Meriwether, Pike, Lamar, Carroll, Coweta, and South Fulton counties, and they focus on patients who are uninsured or underinsured. A sliding fee scale based on household size and income is available, and some patients who qualify can receive care free of charge. Spanish is spoken at the centers. The Palmetto location at 643 Main Street houses the office and pharmacy, and a QuickCare site is nearby on Park Street.
