Palm Springs Art Museum

Palm Springs Art Museum shows modern and contemporary art, with rotating exhibitions drawn from its permanent collection in the main building on Museum Drive. The museum is also known for its architecture programs, which include the Architecture and Design Center in the Edwards Harris Pavilion downtown, the Aluminaire House and tour options at the Frey House II. Its exhibitions and events draw visitors interested in midcentury modern design as well as fine art.

The main museum is open most days except Monday through Wednesday, with later hours on Thursdays. Memberships include free unlimited admission to the museum's locations, access to exhibitions, and discounts at the museum stores. Each Thursday brings a free evening program, and the campus includes the Annenberg Theater for performances. The Faye Sarkowsky Sculpture Garden is in Palm Desert, a short drive away.
