About DevNW

The story

DevNW is a nonprofit that works on personal finance, affordable housing and neighborhood revitalization across the Northwest. Its counseling covers homeownership education, personal finance and foreclosure avoidance, and it builds and owns affordable rental homes and homes for sale, including community land trust homes. Access to funds includes individual development accounts and downpayment assistance.

The organization formed in 2019 when NEDCO and Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services combined, and together the two groups bring 60 years of experience. Classes and one-on-one counseling sit alongside a home repair program and emergency assistance. Besides Oregon City, DevNW has offices in Corvallis, Salem and Springfield.
