Diamond Vogel

Diamond Vogel is an industrial coatings manufacturer that makes liquid and powder coating systems for OEM manufacturers. Its products protect metal and other industrial parts from corrosion and wear, and its markets include commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, trailer manufacturing, metal fabrication, furniture and fixtures, and power and energy. The company also sells aerosol and architectural paints under other lines.

This is a business-to-business supplier rather than a walk-in shop, so most customers are production managers and plant engineers. Its technical team can work directly on a customer's line, with audits, oven profiling, troubleshooting and training, and the company runs a color control program to keep finishes consistent across production runs. The company is family-owned and traces its roots to 1926 in Orange City, Iowa, in the northwest part of the state.
