Metro Locksmith

Metro Locksmith is a locksmith company in Omaha that handles automotive, residential and commercial lock work. Its automotive side covers keyless entry remotes, key fob replacement, broken ignition key extraction and emergency lockout service, including making a new car key on the spot when the original is lost. On the home and business side, it rekeys and replaces locks, installs master key systems, smart locks and high-security locks, and sets up access control and panic bars for commercial properties.

The company is closely held, and the owners still take part in day-to-day work. It runs mobile service vans that come to the customer rather than towing the vehicle, and it answers the phone seven days a week. The shop is at 108th Street in south Omaha, and the business lists service areas that include Council Bluffs, Lincoln, Bellevue and Gretna.
