Heartland Wood Floors

Heartland Wood Floors installs custom and prefinished hardwood and engineered wood floors, and also handles refinishing, recoating and deep cleaning of existing wood floors. Customers often mention solid oak floors and additions where new flooring was matched to older boards. Custom floors are sanded and finished on site, while prefinished floors need no sanding, which means less dust and a shorter job.

The business has a 2,500-square-foot showroom at 14621 Industrial Road in Omaha where customers can compare species, stains, finishes and sheens side by side, and staff are available during weekday showroom hours without an appointment. Owners can also meet by appointment about specific projects. Wood flooring is not recommended for bathrooms or laundry rooms because of moisture, and the business mails recoat reminders to past customers every two years.
