RDJ LLC

RDJ Construction & Painting is a remodeling and painting company based in Olympia, founded by owner Raleigh Johnson, a master painter who became a general contractor. The company is known for kitchen and bathroom remodels, interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, and custom and commercial remodeling. Raleigh personally oversees each project, and the in-house crew handles most of the work, from demolition through finishing.

RDJ handles drywall, flooring, painting, and custom cabinetry itself, and brings in trusted partners for plumbing and electrical work. Pricing is set without a markup on materials, and customers can buy materials directly or have RDJ purchase them at cost. Projects start with an initial consultation to discuss the vision, budget, and timeline. The crew serves Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey, and the wider South Sound area, and weekend work is by appointment.
