Joey Biscotti

Joey Biscotti is a small-batch bakery in Safety Harbor known for rustic gourmet desserts that give family recipes a modern twist. The display case rotates weekly and seasonally, with favorites like Double Chocolate Ganache Brownies, Lime Coconut Bars, Chocolate Toffee Cake and the Rosanna Cake, four layers of sour cream chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and salted caramel. Weekends bring cinnamon rolls and scones, and in the fall there are baked donuts on Saturdays.

Special orders are a big part of the business, and cakes or party desserts need at least a week's notice, placed by phone or text rather than social media. The bakery also sells its treats at the Dunedin Downtown Market on Saturdays. The shop is closed for a summer break and reopens Wednesday, July 29, then keeps its regular schedule with Monday and Tuesday closed.
