Kearney Funeral Homes

Kearney Funeral Homes is a family-run funeral business with a funeral home in Old Forge and another in West Scranton. The Old Forge location dates to 1954, and the firm also includes a monument company, a florist, a waterfront event venue and a restaurant. The business is known for prearranged funeral planning and for personalizing services, from traditions to unusual requests like a flyover or a favorite band at graveside.

Families can request a no-obligation meeting by phone or through an online form, and staff also speak at local venues about the process. The Old Forge home sits at 517 North Main Street on the border of Old Forge and Taylor. The Scranton location has a rear parking lot that holds forty or more vehicles and room for multiple viewings.
