Smith Specialty Automotive is an auto repair shop in Olathe that services most makes and models, both foreign and domestic. It is known for vehicle electronics and diagnostics, including check engine light problems and electrical issues that other shops may hesitate to take on. Routine work like oil changes and brake service is handled as well, with ASE-certified technicians doing the repairs.

The shop is locally owned and family-owned, and it has been in business since 1997. It is an AAA Approved Repair Facility and a NAPA Auto Care Center, and most repairs carry a 2-year/24,000-mile nationwide warranty. Customers can wait in a lounge with TV, Wi-Fi and refreshments, use a local shuttle within 15 miles, or borrow a loaner vehicle by appointment. Financing is available through lending partners. The shop serves Olathe and nearby communities such as Overland Park, Lenexa, Gardner and Shawnee.
