Guided hikes and nature education on 2.5 miles of woodland trails5000 W Memorial Road, Oklahoma City, OK

Martin Park Nature Center is a city-run hub for nature exploration and education in Oklahoma City, with about 2.5 miles of woodland trails, a visitor center with live animals and a nature learning library, and a nature-themed playground. Guided hikes and interpretive programs introduce visitors of all ages to local wildlife and plants in a quiet suburban setting.
School, scout and church groups can book guided hikes or ambassador animal programs, with a minimum of 10 people and reservations made in advance. The park recommends booking three to four weeks ahead. It is open Wednesday through Sunday and closed Monday and Tuesday, and the visitor center stays closed on federal holidays while the grounds remain open. Pets, bicycles, fires, swimming and drones are not allowed, though ADA service animals are welcome. A picnic pavilion seating up to 30 is available to rent.
