Coastal General Construction

Coastal General Construction designs and builds custom homes, along with home additions, kitchen and bath renovations and commercial work. Much of its commercial business is retail and restaurant construction, including bar rebuilds, restaurant remodels and additions. Founded in 2006 by Jerry DeHart and Norm Clough, the company handles a project from first sketch through final walk-through under one design-build team.

Clients meet with the partners early to explore ideas and outline a preliminary scope, then move through design and site plan meetings, a project estimate and a contract before construction begins. Jerry and Norm stay personally involved in every step of each project. The company is based in Ogunquit, Maine, and also works in Cape Neddick, York and southern coastal Maine.
